Lumity is an information sharing platform to engage in positive, productive content with your like-minded, growth-oriented learning community. It is a platform to leverage your peers and those that you like to learn from, to see what they are reading, watching, and listening to. It is designed for users to share and engage in valuable content that will help you learn and grow as an individual.

Lumity allows for the sharing of content through the mediums of books, podcasts, videos, and articles, to connect with and exchange producitve information with your selected learning community. We want Lumity to be as user-friendly and user-driven as possible so use the app to the extent that it benefits you the most!

• 2) Connect with your friends, colleagues, peers, and mentors to learn from and engage in valuable content together
• 3) Share the valuable information you're reading, watching, and listening to in order to help inspire others and facilitate learning and growth
• 4) Explore the content that your community as well as the platform as a whole is circulating and engaging in. Filter it by medium (books, podcasts, videos, articles) or search for topics like Business, Environment, Philosophy, or Mental Health.
• 5) Build personalized playlists to stay organized and sort through your content as you see fit or make your playlists public and share with friends so they too can take advantage of your custom playlists

Yes! Lumity is completely free to use. We do not want to have any barriers to learning and personal growth, so please utilize the app as much as you'd like!

Lumity is for anyone who wants to continue to learn and grow as an individual. It is for those that enjoy learning about different topics and seeing what their friends and/or Colleagues are learning from as well. We offer a broad range of interests related to the types of content members can share and we will continue to add more as we grow.

Lumity is not for those that want to spread misinformation, hatred, polarization, or otherwise further Contribute to the division of society. It is simply for those that are intellectually curious and want to learn more! Please refer to our Community Guidelines for further information on the standard we uphold.

Home Page: Here you can dive into what your chosen community has shared. The feed includes all the books, podcasts, videos, and articles your close peers have been consuming. The feed is in chronological order and can be filtered to only include the specific types of content you want to see (ie. books). Also, you are able to search for specific community members posts or interests that you are looking to learn more in, such as: 'Michael Keil' or 'Biology'.

Explore: In this tab, you can find other users on the platform to learn from, sorted by similar interests. Here you can also dive into specific topics and see what has been shared across the entire platform, outside of the scope of just your immediate community. If you want to see what has been shared or what is popular in a specific interest such as 'Financial Literacy', you can click into the interest and see all the content that has been posted. You can filter down to the specific type of content you are seeking and also search for specific people as well

Library: Here you can stay personally organized and keep track of content by saving items for later, marking them as completed, or creating custom playlists for your liking. Build playists for your favorite topics such as 'Philosophy' or 'Start-Up' and make them public for your community to view and take advantage of your knowledge! You can also share your playlists with people through our direct messaging feature.

Profile: Buiild out your profile with a personalized headline and bio, along with your selected profile photo and interests that you are most passionate about. You can edit your profile at any time and access your settings to customize Lumity just for your liking. All of your posts will populate here for your community to see what you have shared. You can also take advantage of the 'My Picks' feature and list your favorite books, podcasts, videos, and articles for users to see what resonates with you the most!

You can post any book, podcast, video, and article that resonates with you and that you feel like others would enjoy. We want Lumity to be as user-driven as possible. This means users should feel comfortable sharing with their community whatever it is that they learned and grew from. You can post long, paragraph like captions breaking down/summarizing the content or one-liner captions such as, "This is a great listen that I highly recommend".

We want Lumity and our users to be fully authentic so however something appeals to you, please feel free to share.

Bugs & Fixes: Within the Lumity app itself, Settings > Contact Lumity, you can submit any bugs and fixes that you come across while using the application. While we like to believe we have worked through each of these, we recognize that there may still be bugs you come across. Please submit these with a brief description and a picture or video and we will work to correct it as soon as possible.

Feedback & Suggestions: Within the Lumity app itself, Settings > Contact Lumity, you can submit any feedback or suggestions you have that you believe will help better serve you as the user. In this option there are fields for: What you like about the app, where we can improve, and any interests or other features you'd like to see added. As we continue to grow, we want to make this app as wholesome as it can be. Any feature that you believe will benefit you, other users, and the app itself, we are happy to take into consideration!
